We are always looking for a few more Friends and invite you to join today!
Mingo Swamp Friends are dedicated to supporting the primary purposes of the Mingo National Wildlife Refuge, namely. . .
▪ the protection of wildlife and natural resources
▪ wildlife-oriented recreation, including fishing, hunting, wildlife viewing and photography, without interfering with the primary purposes
of the Refuge
▪ environmental education of the public
▪ scientific research on environment and wildlife

Friends meetings are held quarterly, with time and date to be announced, at the Mingo National Wildlife Refuge Visitor Center. The Visitor Center is located one mile north of Puxico, Missouri on Highway 51. Anyone with a passion for wildlife conservation and refuges is invited to attend.
