Mingo Swamp Friends are dedicated to supporting the primary purposes of the Mingo National Wildlife Refuge, namely. . .
            ▪          the protection of wildlife and natural resources 
                ▪          wildlife-oriented recreation, including fishing, hunting, wildlife viewing and photography, without interfering with the primary purposes
                        of the Refuge 
                ▪          environmental education of the public 
                ▪          scientific research on environment and wildlife
